What an album!!! A Scarcity of Miracles is a work of power and subtlety, with just the right pinch of atmospherics for taste. Just finished listening to it AGAIN on the drive home from work! CHEERS to you, Mr. Fripp and the rest for the brilliance put into these tracks!

Isn't it odd how one used to come across your name in odd, but always prog-related contexts (I was never into Level 42) ... something to do with Hammill and VDGG, and what was this with Greaves and Blegvad ... one could never quite figure out what you were up to, and then everything fell into place with "The Bruised Romantics Club", a miracle of a CD, there is a clear continuity here, obviously, with the prog tradition (made explicit on CD 2, of course), but it goes beyond hippy stuff and cleverness for its own sake, there is no fear of sentimentality and simplicity here, yet the result is complex, confident and beautiful. Can't wait to hear the recent albums! Cheers from Oslo!

Jakko, really dig your work on the Scarcity of Miracles album - I listen to it all the time. Am a raving KC fan and think you did a great job; your voice works really well with the soothing (and melancholy) sound. I feel like it's an album for wise men who've learned a lot of truth about themselves through many a life experience.

Brilliant works of art. Bruised Romantic Waves of Scarce Miracles refuse to leave my CD player, as well as my brain. This collection of tunes, including some 21st Century Band pieces, have captured my attention on a level much higher than most of my other purchases I have made in many, many years.

Thank You Jakko,

Dan

Scarcity or Mircales: a miracle!

by now I've listened to the album a dozen times. It is very dificult t o determine what tracks I like the most comparing the original album to the alternate tracks....
I discovered that I especially love the alternate takes of a Scarcity of Miracles ( lovely backing vocals) and especially the last song: The Light of Days....what a very beautiful version this is and what wonderful fluteplaying by Mel....

Jakko, you made a beautiful album together with the other boys. You put your heart into it. The album has a very English feel and the alternate mixes have even more!
Wonderful
Some discuss about the issue whether this is or isn’t a King Crimson Album. I say: it doesn’t matter, because it has all the King’s power!!
